THE COURSE

Centro Studi Italiani has set up a special SIX MONTH UNIVERSITY ACCESS PROGRAM for SEMINARIANS, PRIESTS AND NUNS who will be starting theological studies, but lack the necessary linguistic and cultual knowledge. We can offer different educational possibilities and the courses can always be adapted to suit specific needs. General information for a four week course:

Recreational and free time activities
Cultural events  Operatic concerts (June, July and August), lectures.
Excursions Venues of historical, artistic and religious interest will be visited: (Urbino, Gubbio, Perugia, Ravenna, Assisi, etc). These excursions are not compulsory and are not included in course fees.

  Morning (8.50-10.50 a.m. / 11.20 to 12.20 a.m.) Afternoon (2.30-4.30 p.m.)

Why choose this course:
  •  Urbania is a pleasant town, quiet and safe, rich in history and humanity, far from mass tourism where it is easy  to communicate in Italian with everybody and to practise the language at all levels. It is possible to stay with specially selected host families or in local monasteries.
  • The language courses are offered at 8 different levels; classes are small (maximum 12 students per class) and programmes can be adapted to specific needs.
  • Specialised teaching in language for philosophical and theological studies.
  • Possibility to collaborate with local parish work and participate in ecclesiastical groups.
