You know that gesture that you always see in movies when you have to make it clear that, for an Italian, something is super-yummy? … Index finger that “rotates” in the hollow of the cheek … Got it? Perfect: in Italy no one does it.
Disappointed? Well, on the other hand, the Italian culinary tradition boasts a quantity of first and second dishes, desserts and delicacies of all kinds, so incredible that a lifetime would not be enough to try them all. You know what? Start learning to cook two or three! Many of your friends will be jealous when you come back home, if you come back home… hahaha

The course is for those who wish to learn how to cook traditional Italian and regional dishes while practising their Italian at the same time. The course is held at a well known local restaurant where, after having learned the culinary techniques, course members can stay and eat what they have cooked!

Se bbeve, e se magna

Although it is an exquisitely Roman expression, the phrase “se bbeve e se magna” is understood in every corner of Italy; it means that, when there is good food and drink, no one holds back …
What? Are you doing the Zone Diet? Tip: not in this area, not during these days. Trust me, no matter which Centro Studi Italian’s school you have chosen for your experience, you would not learn Italian well enough if you do not discover the food and wine treasure of each region of Italy

Don’t be a salami

Stop saying “Salami”! It is called “Salame”, “Prosciutto crudo”, “Prosciutto cotto”, “Parmigiano Reggiano”, “Aceto Balsamico”.
We are talking about IGP and DOCG masterpieces that are produced only and exclusively in the areas of Modena and Parma; absolute excellence of the Italian food and wine heritage that will take the words out of your mouth, literally.

What does IGP mean? You will know everything in due course, in the meantime prepare yourself psychologically, because you will taste things that you humans have never seen or eaten (as he said, that movie…?!?).

We Are Family

Centro Studi Italiani is run by a family and we consider each student and each teacher to be a part of it!

Italians can always count on the support of a big, warm and welcoming family. In our schools, you will experience the same warmth, while learning in a familiar environment, where everyone is special.
Our teaching method puts each student at the center of the education experience, that takes place not only inside the classroom but also outside. For this reason, we always offer cultural experiences, excursions, workshops and cultural trips in order to broaden your learning experience and make you feel at home.
