CENTRO STUDI ITALIANI OPERA FESTIVAL
The Centro Studi Italiani Opera Festival takes place every summer and is designed for young singers and instrumentalists wishing to learn the Italian language while improving their muisical skills.
LANGUAGE AND MUSIC PROGRAMS
Different types of programs are designed for vocalists, instrumentalists, pianists / coaches / accompanists. Programs normally last 4-6 weeks (a 3 week option is occasionally available). All include Italian language, conversation and culture classes for a total of 21 hours per week. All vocal programs include individual coaching sessions with particular emphasis on Italian art songs and/or operatic repertoire.
Throughout the festival, numerous performance opportunities are available, both in Urbania and throughout the Marche region.

Each summer, vocal master classes are presented throughout the festival. Since 1985 both students and faculty have enjoyed master classes by internationally recognised artists and pedagogues: Fedora Barbieri, Anita Cerquetti, Enza Ferrari, Mirella Freni, Luisa Macnez, Eva Mei, Mario Melani, Paola Molinari, Maria Parazzini, Bruno Praticò, Cecilia Valdenassi and Alberto Zedda.
