Discover the timeless beauty and craftsmanship of Italian ceramics with this immersive program. You will travel to the most renowned ceramic and artistic centers, participate in hands-on workshops led by master craftsmen exploring ancient and modern techniques, and visit historic sites and museums. An immersion in Italian art, tradition and creativity.

This program is perfect for enthusiasts of Italian art, craft and culture who are eager for an in-depth, hands-on experience in the world of ceramics and craftsmanship. It is great for those who want to learn specific techniques directly from the masters, explore the history and cultural significance of the art of ceramics, and at the same time improve conversational Italian with a focus on art and ceramic vocabulary.
Creative Fusion Program Learning Outcomes
The goal of this program is to enhance your technical skills in craftsmanship through hands-on workshops (jewelry, Raku, Majolica decoration, botanical prints and more). You will improve colloquial Italian specific to the art sector. You will gain a deep understanding of the history and cultural significance of ceramics in Italy by visiting museums and key locations. In this way your creativity will be stimulated and you will fully appreciate this art.
Creative Fusion Program Outline
In our program there will be targeted conversational Italian lessons (art vocabulary/ceramics) and numerous visits, workshops and hands-on activities at museums and companies. It includes daily trips and a final weekend in Rome.
Housing and transportation
You will stay in shared apartments, in double rooms with other students. Airport transfers as well as bus transportation for all excursions and the capstone weekend in Rome are included.
Where is it held?
The program takes place in Urbania, which serves as the base for all classes and some activities. It will also be the starting point for buses to other destinations.
