The Italian language and culture course VIVI l’Italia! is an opportunity open to students of all ages and nationalities, regardless of their language proficiency level, who wish to develop comprehension, speaking, reading and writing skills in Italian.

The course includes 15 hours of language lessons per week (3 hours per day from Monday to Friday):

• 9:00 – 11:00: Grammar and vocabulary sessions;
• 11:00 – 11:30: Break;
• 11:30 – 12:30: Practical and communicative application of the Italian language.

The classes are purposely small to ensure individual attention for all students. Groups are formed uniformly according to the starting level of Italian language. For this reason, you will be invited to complete a level test before your arrival.

The VIVI l’Italia! course includes a rich proposal of cultural activities and food and wine experiences:

• Entrance to the Palazzo Ducale e Museo Civico of Urbania;
• Entrance to the Museo Diocesano Leonardi in Urbania;
• Entrance to the Chiesa dei Morti e Cimitero delle Mummie in Urbania;
• Entrance to the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche (Palazzo Ducale) in Urbino, including ticket for public transport;
• ‘Aperitivo all’italiana”: tasting of local wines or craft beers;
• A dinner or lunch based on typical products at a historic local restaurant.

You can autonomously manage the visits and tastings included in the package during the afternoon hours. Our secretary is available to guide and support you in organising activities during your stay in Urbania.

Another highlight of the course is the creative workshops, including art and ceramics lessons led by highly skilled local artists. This is complemented by cooking classes, where you will learn to prepare traditional Italian dishes such as homemade pasta and pizza, accompanied by tastings of the finest wines, carefully selected by experts in Italian gastronomy.

Students can also enjoy truffle tastings, go hiking or cycling through the stunning mountain landscapes, or experience the thrill of canoeing through the picturesque Canyon del Furlo.
