Andiamo! program combines daily Italian language classes with engaging cultural activities such as cooking and ceramics classes, and exciting excursions to destinations of great beauty and artistic and cultural importance. Experience a total immersion in the Italian lifestyle.
Andiamo! Program Audience
This program is designed for students eager for an immersive experience that goes beyond the language. It is perfect for all those Italy lovers who want to not only significantly improve Italian in all of its skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing), but also actively explore art, culinary traditions, natural beauty and Italian history while participating in exciting trips and activities.
Andiamo! Program Learning Outcomes
With this program you will greatly improve your skills in Italian, from grammar to conversation. You will gain a deep understanding of Italian culture through direct experiences (classes, cooking, art, visits). You will develop an authentic perspective on life in Italy and enhanced interaction skills through the many hands-on activities and excursions. Participating in the Andiamo! program you will also enhance your intercultural competence and global awareness thanks to the interaction with the local community.
Andiamo! Program Outline
The program includes 3 hours of Italian per day (23 hours per week), focusing on all language skills. There will be cultural activities (cooking, ceramics, aperitifs, lectures), half-day excursions (Urbino, Gubbio or other depending on whether the program will be held in Urbania or Genova), full-day excursions to postcard cities like Florence or Venice and a capstone weekend in Rome.
Housing and transportation
You will stay in comfortable fully furnished apartments, in double room occupancy. Bus transportation for all excursions, the weekend in Rome, and the airport transfers is included in the program.
Where is it held?
The program can take place in Urbania or Genova.
