CENTRO STUDI ITALIANI, the Italian language school in Urbania

 Welcome. My name is Carlo_Amedeo_Pasotto and I am the founder and director of the Centro Studi Italiani, the first school of Italian language and culture for international students in Urbania, in the Marches and along the entire Adriatic coast.
When I founded  the school, way back in 1986, I chose Urbania, and not the cities of mass tourism like Florence, Rome, Venice, Siena, Perugia, etc., where an international student risks speaking English and not Italian.
Urbania is a charming town, rich in art and history, without all the negative aspects of the big city: pollution, danger, difficulties in  getting to know the local people, high cost of living. Everyone can be sure of a warm welcome in Urbania, where everyone speaks Italian and where it is easy to make friends with the locals and practise the language.  It is the ideal place for a language school!  Moreover, the territory is one of the most beautiful and well preserved in Italy: mountains, sea, hills and near to the famous art cities of Central Italy.
Also the courses  in Italian language and culture at the Centro Studi Italiani are unique in their kind. Our standard course is already intensive with 25 hours per week (in most schools it is only 20) with a rich and varied programme which includes conversation and Italian cultural subjects (included in course fees). We also offer a wide range of special courses, including art courses and traditional Italian cooking courses.
Every week we organize excursions on Wednesday afternoons to nearby art towns (Urbino, Gubbio, S. Leo, Republic of San Marino, Gradara, Sansepolcro, etc) and a full day excursion on Sundays (Assisi, Perugia, Ravenna, Arezzo, Florence, Siena, etc).
