Miscellaneous Useful links Contacts Back to home Welcome to the Centro Studi Italiani, the first school of Italian language and culture for international students in the Marche, founded by Carlo_ Amedeo_Pasotto in 1986. Since then students from over 120 countries throughout the world have attended the school. Urbania is a charming town, rich in art and history, friendly and safe, where everyone speaks Italian and it is easy to make friends with the locals and practise the language; an alternative to big towns that are invaded by mass tourism. Furthermore the territory, between Tuscany and the Adriatic sea, is one of the most beautiful and best preserved in Italy: mountains, sea, hills, and near to the famous art cities of Central Italy. Our courses in Italian language and culture are unique in their kind. Our standard intensive course is 25 hours per week (and not 20, which is normally considered intensive), with a rich and varied programme including conversation and cultural subjects (included in course fees).
