Welcome to the Centro Studi
Italiani, the first school of Italian
language and culture for
international students in the
Marche, founded by Carlo_
Amedeo_Pasotto in 1986. Since
then students from over 120
countries throughout the world have
attended the school.
Urbania is a charming town, rich in
art and history, friendly and safe,
where everyone speaks Italian and
it is easy to make friends with the
locals and practise the language;
an alternative to big towns that are
invaded by mass tourism.
Furthermore the territory, between
Tuscany and the Adriatic sea, is
one of the most beautiful and best
preserved in Italy: mountains, sea,
hills, and near to the famous art
cities of Central Italy.
Our courses in Italian language and
culture are unique in their kind. Our
standard intensive course is 25
hours per week (and not 20, which
is normally considered intensive),
with a rich and varied programme
including conversation and
cultural subjects (included in
course fees). We also offer a varied
programme of special courses,
including arts and handicrafts and
traditional Italian cooking.

ACCOMMODATION

The school takes care of finding accommodation for students and assists them during their stay. By way of example we list some accommodation solutions available in Urbania. Indicate with numbers 1,2,3 your choices in order of preference and these will be considered when your accommodation is alloted, in accordance with the date of your enrolment.
Prices refer to one week's stay and are valid until 31-12-2010.

FURNISHED APARTMENTS

All apartments have a kitchen, bathroom and one or more bedrooms. The apartments are provided with sheets and towels.
1) One roomed apartments:
(for 1 or 2 people)		 for 1 person from € 94 to € 104
for 2 people: 25% supplement
  + electricity, water and gas costs: € 19 for 1 person
€ 27 for 2 people
  or according to consumption whenever possible.
2) Apartments with more than one bedroom shared with other students: double room: from € 45 to € 53 per student single room: 50% supplement
  + electricity, water and gas costs: € 18 per single room;
€ 14 per double room per student
  or according to consumption whenever possible.

In Spring and Autumn months, whenever it is necessary to heat the house, heating costs will need to be charged.
