Welcome to the Centro Studi
Italiani, the first school of Italian
language and culture for
international students in the
Marche, founded by Carlo_
Amedeo_Pasotto in 1986. Since
then students from over 120
countries throughout the world have
attended the school.
Urbania is a charming town, rich in
art and history, friendly and safe,
where everyone speaks Italian and
it is easy to make friends with the
locals and practise the language;
an alternative to big towns that are
invaded by mass tourism.
Furthermore the territory, between
Tuscany and the Adriatic sea, is
one of the most beautiful and best
preserved in Italy: mountains, sea,
hills, and near to the famous art
cities of Central Italy.
Our courses in Italian language and
culture are unique in their kind. Our
standard intensive course is 25
hours per week (and not 20, which
is normally considered intensive),
with a rich and varied programme
including conversation and
cultural subjects (included in
course fees). We also offer a varied
programme of special courses,
including arts and handicrafts and
traditional Italian cooking.

The Centre of Italian Studies is open all year. For national holidays the school will be closed on the following days:  9 April, 25 April, 1 May, 2 June, 25 July, 15 August, 1 November, 8 December.
 

ENROLMENT PROCEDURE

No particular documents are required for enrolment. Fill in the "on-line" enrolment form (see below) and send it with a deposit (€ 498, net of bank or postal charges).

Method of payment: 
- Credit card: as provided in one of the two "on-line" enrolment forms.
- Bank: payment to c/c N° 4545, Banca delle Marche, Agenzia di Urbania, IBAN: IT47 G060 5568 6900 0000 0004 545; SWIFT: BAMAIT3A.
- Post Office: (International telegraphic money order);
- Cheque made out to: CENTRO STUDI ITALIANI - Urbania, to be attached to the enrolment form and sent by registered post.
Enrolment can only take place when we have received the deposit payment.

WITHDRAWAL RIGHT (enrolment) Italian law D.L. 15 January 1992,n. 50 within 7 days of paying your deposit. If you wish to withdraw within this period your deposit can be refunded, less bank charges. After this period your deposit is not refundable but you may use it to enrol for another course or you may pass this opportunity on to another person.

We ask you to send the form as soon as possible giving us time to organize a personalized service. If there should be less than a month before the start, telephone for confirmation. You will receive by return from us the receipt of your payment with confirmation of your enrolment in the course and the accommodation reservation. The remaining amount for the enrolment and accommodation is to be paid in a convenient fashion at the beginning of the course, according to the formula chosen and confirmed by us. The amount due can be paid to our bank also by credit card.
