in Urbania

INFORMATION AND APPLICATION
FOR INSTRUMENTALISTS


The students of the Instrumental Chamber Music division of the Centro Studi Italiani Opera Festival follow a 4-week program in intense study of major works in the chamber music literature, with internationally renowned chamber music coaches. Repertoire is assigned to each student after they are placed in an ensemble with colleagues of approximately the same artistic level. Between 2 and 4 coachings per week are scheduled leading to the performance of these works in the beautiful settings of towns in and around Urbania in the Marche region. Rehearsals are held daily in the picturesque village of St. Angelo in Vado, a fifteen minute drive from Urbania.

 

You can expect all the following:

All students enrolled in the program benefit from 25 hours per week of intense conversational Italian language study (language, conversation and culture) at the Centro Studi Italiani, the first School for foreigners in Marche Region and one of the finest language schools in the country. Learn the language of music!

Individual coaching and for ensembles

Concerts and performances in different venues
Excursions and guided visits to historical cities (Florence, Assisi, Perugia, etc.). The sea is within easy reach.
Live the Italian "lifestyle" with the Italians as guests in families or furnished apartments.
Pleasant and friendly local environment.
